Solano sliding towards a Larissa exit

He has only been with Larissa for about five months, but Peruvian midfielder Nolberto Solano appears to be on his way out of Larissa this winter as Argentina’s Velez Sarsfield looks to reel in the former Premier League player.
Argentine press had revealed interest from Sarsfield in Solano, but the situation was put into much more clarity on Friday when Solano made statements of his own.
“Velez are interested in my services, and I could say the negotiations are 50 to 60 percent done, and now we will have to wait and see what happens in the next few days,” said Solano
There hasn’t been much individual success from Solano during his stay thus far in Greece; however, his equalizer against Olympiacos ahead of the Christmas break was plenty to celebrate about – incidentally a sending off moments later limited celebrations to the change rooms.
Having played for Apertura giants Boca Juniors in 1997, Larissa was just Solano’s fourth stop in Europe since the 1998-1999 season.
An announcement regarding Solano’s future with the club is expected to be made in the coming days.
