Vyntra voted MVP, Papasterianos acrobatics elected best goal

A two-goal performance for Panathinaikos’ Loukas Vyntra has earned the fullback of the weekly honour of being named OPAP MVP for the Super League 21st Round. The Greece international was instrumental in his side’s 3-0 defeat of PAOK at the OAKA Spyros Louis, a win allowing Panathinaikos to leapfrog the Thessaloniki giants into second place.
The 28-year-old Czech-born Greek collected a remarkable 78.9% of the vote to beat out Asteras Tripolis goalkeeper Nikos Anastosopoulos, who secured a clean sheet against Panserraikos, and Skoda Xanthi’s Libor Dosek who scored a hat-trick on his debut in the Greek Super League.
Papasterianos’ ‘GOLARA’ voted the best of the 21st
Also collecting hardware during the week was Iraklis’s Manolis Papasterianos, whose acrobatic effort against Ergotelis on Sunday was selected as the best goal of the round as the 21-year old was presented the Best Goal OPAP award.
With 80.9% percent of the popular vote, Papasterianos beat out Larissa’s Giorgos Fotakis, and Thrasyvoulos’ Jozef Kozlei.
